Time to raise the ‘WOOF’! Shaggy Chic is here. February 06 2014

Welcome to my blog! I’m Valentino, the Director of Wag. Mom and my aunt tell me I’m the bones behind the operation of Shaggy Chic. I don’t know what that really means, but I do like bones.
Be sure to check in often because I have a lot to bark about including scoop on contests, new product line announcements, event appearances and more!
My first appearance will be at the North Texas Irish Festival, February 28 – March 2. “Why is a Pekingese appearing at an Irish festival?,” you ask. Good question. This year's theme, Erin Go Bark!, celebrates the unique role of dogs in Celtic culture. It is also the largest gathering of animal rescue groups of any festival in Dallas. WooHoo! Put your paws in the air! That’s super important to me and everyone at Shaggy Chic. My fur siblings, cousins and I are all rescues!

At the festival, Shaggy Chic will be raising the ‘woof’ with the launch of our new Gaelic t-shirts, designed just for the event.  Available shirts include ‘Choirt an hÉireann’ (Bark of the Irish) and ‘Is é mocatnipper’ (My cat is a nipper) with a portion of sales benefiting North Texas Irish Festival and attending animal rescue groups.

So, come see me at Dallas’ Fair Park! Get one of these cool shirts, and be sure to post a photo of you and your friends wearing your Gaelic shirts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Tag your post with #NTIF2014 and #ShaggyChicness for a chance to win an upcoming Gaelic designed shirt.  While supplies last, we’ll also have complimentary photos and refrigerator magnets (I love anything that comes from the fridge!).

It will be a paws-itively fun time at the Shaggy Chic booth! For more information on the festival, visit http://www.ntif.org/.

Finally, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+.

I’ll post soon, and see you at the North Texas Irish Festival! There is always something to bark about at Shaggy Chic.
